Inspired by the partnership with financial service provider, Allan Gray, and personal experience of the professional development sub-committee members, an epiphany was that for most first-time employees, living within their means was easier said than done. This highlighted the need for an intervention with regards to managing finances and to this end the financial literacy workshops were initiated.
