Assessment of Professional Competence

The AWCA Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) Preparatory Workshop (previously referred to as the FQE Workshop) was established as a support structure for candidates who were unsuccessful in the second board exam. It has subsequently grown to become one of the AWCA’s flagship programs. In line with the AWCA’s second pillar of nurturing young aspiring Chartered Accountants, the APC workshop aims to provide a holistic intervention for the APC candidates, by supplementing academic support with much needed mental and emotional motivation, as these areas were identified as some of the stumbling blocks in passing the exam.
