Nokukhanya is the Head of Finance at IndieFin (a division of Sanlam), a role she’s held since January 2018. Prior to that, she was a Financial Manager at Sanlam Personal Finance. She has worked at CSG International, Shell and PKF South Africa where she held various positions in Finance, Group Reporting, Reporting & Business Planning, Audit and Advisory. Nokukhanya serves on the Board of African Women Chartered Accountants (AWCA), where she is the Regional Chairperson for the Western Cape. A qualified Chartered Accountant and a member of SAICA. She is passionate about education and skills development and has completed the Management Advancement Programme at Stellenbosch Business School. Her passion for women empowerment is evident in her belief that “the sustainability of Africa in the long run will be through the empowerment of women and young girls because their empowerment tends an inter-generational impact on health and education that benefits societies for generations.”
