Thina is a Financial services professional with over 10 years in the industry. She has experience in Corporate and Investment Banking, Treasury, Funding and Liquidity Management. Thina currently works at Rand Merchant Bank where she is the Executive Assistant to the CEO of Rest of Africa with the primary responsibility of supporting the CEO in shaping and delivering on the strategy of the business, managing key projects and providing technical support to key stakeholders. Her vast experience within the industry within various functional roles helps her to bring both strategic, analytical and technical insights to the roles that she occupies. As someone who is passionate about the profession and the development of women, Thina serves on the Board of the African Women Chartered Accountants Forum (AWCA) where she looks after the Strategic Alliances portfolio, and also serves on the Fundraising committee. The AWCA is an organisation that seeks to advance the representation and development of Black Women within the Chartered Accountancy profession in South Africa.
