ELEVATE FROM VISION TO VICTORY :Annual Vision Board Master Class

Attention ladies! The year is almost 3 months in and you may find yourself already falling behind on some of the goals you had set out for yourself for this year. Or you may not even have gotten around to creating a clear vision of what you want to accomplish. You may be feeling a little stagnant and not really making any progress on your goals from previous years. Not the greatest place to be but not all is lost! We’ll be hosting the “Elevate from Vision to Victory” Vision Board Masterclass on Saturday 26 March where you can learn the art and science behind vision boarding, how to set realistic but bold and audacious (next level!) goals for yourself. Of course learning how to be deliberate in your planning and meticulous in your execution will be key! We will be joined by an exciting line up of speakers who will inspire and empower you on this journey and of course you’ll be surrounded by like-minded women like yourself who are looking to level up to the grandest versions of themselves this year. Look out for our exciting line-up of speakers over the next few days. This will be an intimate event so tickets are limited. Tickets are available on Quicket. You can click on this link to access tickets. If you’re ready to change the gears and give your goals a real chance then book your seat today! #movingtomastery

    AWCA BOOK CLUB

The book, Dad & Daughter Conversations, is inspired by my being a father of two daughters. My natural desire to look out for them created within me the increased awareness over the years, of some of the issues young women (and even older women) deal with, and how society contributes to molding the world around them and shaping their worldview. In the book I share some of the conversations I have had and continue to have with my girls about the journey of growing up as a young woman, discovering yourself and setting yourself up to reach your full potential. It is unique in that it is written from a father’s angle, whilst self-help books for women are typically written by women. This book is also a great resource for parents to use in initiating various discussions with their daughters about life. One of the issues that inspired the book is the historical bias of society against women, still evident in our day. In the book, I am attempting to drive home the message that as a young woman, you possess the same capabilities as your male counterparts. Other topics discussed include relationships, pursuing one’s purpose, finances and various others.- Nhlanhla Shezi

South Africa is a buzz about the various COVID vaccinations currently being distributed and while it’s true that the rollout initially experienced hiccups, business owners should be giving a lot of thought to what vaccination will mean for us in the future. REGGIE KHUMALO_x_AWCA "I feel her..."

" She doesn't have to show you her power, she is the power. She doesn't have to conform but from the back she leads. Her humbleness is her strength. Her weakness worn as armour. She doesn't know it yet but she is a future President, CEO, engineer ... Her doubt is not a matter of confusion or disbelief but of asking herself, "will they be able to handle me",.. She knows she is already all of the above and more.Is true power what you see or is power, what is felt. I can feel her energy all the way from the back of the room. She doesn't have to annouce herself. I feel her..." - Reggie Khumalo
