Lulama is a Chartered Accountant with over 13 years’ experience in the financial services industry including banking and insurance. She serves on the Board of the African Women Chartered Accountants (AWCA) and leads stakeholder engagement through the Strategic Alliances portfolio. After completing her articles at Standard Bank; she joined MMI Holdings Limited (MMI) where she has moved up the ranks through her hard work and dedication. She is currently the Head of Treasury, Funding and Liquidity Management at (MMI). Lulama also serves as a member of the MMI Shareholder Credit Committee, is a Trustee on the MMI Masikhulise Enterprise and Supplier Development Trust (which aims to support the development of black suppliers in the insurance industry), and a Non-Executive Director of the MMI Foundation. She is also the Training Officer for the MMI SAICA Training Programme. She is also a Non-Executive Director at Silverbridge Holdings Limited, a company listed on the JSE’s Alt-X.
